Very disappointed in the Typhur Dome 2 Air Fryer

I really wish I could return the unit. For the amount that this cost, the pan is so shallow that only a piece of pizza or toast will fit in it. I don't think a deep dish slice of pizza would fit. I just tried to cook a chicken leg & it even hit the top and burnt and smoked up my entire house. Very poor design. I can't even comment on the function features because the food I'm cooking won't fit. Thankfully, I didn't give away my other air fryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is by far my favorite air fryer! I’ve tried five other brands in the past, and this one stands out. Initially, I was concerned that the basket might be too shallow after reading some reviews, but it turns out to be one of my favorite features. Deep baskets often waste space, but this design makes cooking more efficient.
For example, I was able to cook a tray of boneless thighs in just 15 minutes, and they came out absolutely delicious.
The self-cleaning feature is the main reason I chose this air fryer, and it has been a game-changer. It’s worth every penny! Plus, the 3-year warranty adds extra peace of mind. Highly recommend!

The good and the bad

This is a good device, like others have mentioned it is a bit too low for anything that is above 2 inches in height. Ålso Pizza crust does not crisp. My biggest issue is the cleaning. I had hoped self-cleaning really would get it cleaned. Disappointed that it doesn't. I've tried both the 1 hour and the 2 hour cleaning process. There are still burned on grease areas on bottom pan and I even use a silicone liner....but the liner does not cover the sides of the dome and I can't find anything kind of liner that will cover both the base and the sides...therefore, I still have to use various types of scrubbies and sometimes even steel wool to get the burned on grease spots off. I have to be very careful because the non-stick covering is very thin and rubs off too easily. It is a better device than most, and is somewhat easier to clean but.......

Absolutely phenomenal, it is so easy to use, family friendly, very spacious and the app is a no brainer, you find a recipe and it programs it and you hit start, its as easy as that! Highly recommend this product !!!

This well made and easy to operate air fryer is worth every bit of the price. This not just a fryer, but a multi function small appliance that can cook everything from breakfast to dessert. It’s preset functions are: pizza, bacon, steak, wings, fries, frozen, air fry, roast, grill, bake, griddle, dehydrate, broil. It also has a self clean mode enables you to clean the oil and stains from upper internal chamber. The manual is well written. Typhur app allows you to search for recipes. Has a quiet operation and doesn’t heat up your kitchen either. The pull out basket/drawer and grill plate are dishwasher safe. The inside and the basket plus grill rack have a nonstick surface, so you will need to use non metal utensils. Seeing that it’s just me and hubby, there’s so many things that we can prepare without having to heat up a full size oven.

This is an updated review I bought my Typhur Dome five months ago I’m just now using it as I recently moved and wanted to try it in my new home and it is worth every penny I spend less time in the kitchen and less time on my feet it does it all I do recommend.

Bought this last Christmas and have used it literally every day since. Toasted sandwiches for lunch, frozen steak for dinner, french fries, warming bread -- it really is great. It looks better than the typical tall ones. Thought it might be too wide on the counter but it's not.

So far I am loving it. The only drawback to me is that the basket is shallow. I wish it were just a little bit deeper but I would purchase this Airfryer over any other again and again.
