Probably not. I have the powerbase of the original magic bullet. I needed new containers and decided to buy a complete new unit. The new unit isnt as poserful as the original base. The blade componets are not as effective as the ones in the original unit.
bought this last week and the fist smoothie I made was perfectly blended. but ever since every time I make a smoothie the machine shuts off when it thinks its done and doesn't let me blend anymore and even if I take the plug out and put it back in it doesn't work. also when it blends for a few mins the machine gives off a smell.
I use frozen fruit in smoothies, evidently the Magic bullet is not a strong enough motor for moderate use. If this is how you plan to use it, this is not the choice to make.
Nice gadget for single serving of protein smoothies. Sometimes protein powder gets stuck in crimp in top of plastic. Blender cup goes on upside down. Other than that it blends nicely.
I am pretty late to join the MagicBullet Club. I saw when this thing first came out and thought it would be awesome to try. I was only 15 at the time but I recently got my own place and normally go to Smoothie King so this thing has saved me a lot of money on workout and protein smoothies. I used to buy a meal replacement smoothie multiple times a week because they're just SOOO good. This is truly magical. Just grab my ingredients, throw them in and BLEND!! That's it. I love how the blending cup is also a drinking cup. Convenience is my #1 priority. Might purchase more cups so I have more on hand. Very storage friendly as well because i live in the city and kitchen space is limited. Totally recommend it to anyone.
Easy to use, easy to clean, perfect size cups. I don’t need to pull out my big ole blender for my daily smoothies or milkshakes. So much more quicker to clean and store away. I use it everyday.
