Has taken my abuse!

Mine is one of the first. It has provided me with yeeeears of service. Everything from egg shells/kitchen scraps (for my compost pile) to finely ground bacon (use the flat blade) to frozen fruits...it has served me well.
The base gear finally broke but the replacement is cheap (the fact that most of the parts are replaceable means good design...not disposable junk) and the fact this thing has lasted so long has me very satisfied.
Oh...it's also very, very easy to clean. The sheer simplicity of the design is no-frills and less to clean/break.

I got an original Magic Bullet around 12 - 13 years ago and I just had to replace it because the gear on the base finally broke after years of constant use. I absolutely love it

I bought this "Magic Bullet" 2 days ago and it has overheated BOTH days! Shuts down and will not start for 30+ minutes.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PRODUCT. DOES NOT RECOMMEND!

Stopped working during 3rd use! Purchased for making smoothies and that is the only thing I had made in it when it stopped working during the 3rd time. I was a big fan of the bullet family, owning the baby bullet and the veggie bullet as well, but I am so disappointed after this situation.

Poor design - short lifespan

I had to replace the blade unit and got the heavy duty blade unit. The teeth on this new unit were immediately chewed up by the base motor unit. The company replaced the unit free of charge and the second time I used it both the teeth on the base motor unit and the blade unit disintegrated. I was told that I need to replace both when the base unit is back in stock. It is too bad this unit does not last more than a couple times. When it works, it is great. But hard to justify spending money replacing a product that is of defective design.

Worked for 12-15 uses

Used this about 12-15 times to make fruit smoothies. Then didn’t use it for about a year. Blended aspirin in water today and it immediately started smoking and disintegrating. Tried 3 times, same result.

Broken after a year of use

I bought this last year October 2019 and already broke.
The coupling on the base of the motor got destroyed and destroyed the coupling on the blade part.
This is the second bullet I buy. The first one had the same issue.
I thought it was an isolated event but it seems these items cannot handle frozen fuits.
Both items were used solely for the making of fruit smoothies.
I am disappointed and will not be purchasing any of these items again.
It is a waste of money.
