Container tabs broke not usable

Container tab has 3 plastic prongs/tabs to engage blade when locking down. All 3 prongs/ tabs have broken making it unusable.

Died 2 months after purchase

Used 5 times, died within 2 months. I was making a smoothie with chopped berries, yogurt, milk and crushed ice...it stopped working and smelled like it was burning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this approximately a month ago and since the first time I’ve used it there seems to be a burning smell. I have also noticed when using it, where you insert the cup into the blender part will have liquid metallic drops. Once the drops dry becomes a silver powder. Tried returning the product to the store and they would not except it. Now I’m out a pretty good chunk of change for an item that didn’t even work first use out of the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All I can make are smoothies with very minimal ingredients (yes, for single serve.) Even with banana, almond milk, and protein powder, mixing is sub par and the unit overheats. I tried pulsing and that still doesn’t help. I also purchased the ice attachment and to no avail, the motor itself overheats so the extra attachments are worthless anyway.

Love this as long as it works

I had two of the original bullet blenders and the motor burned out after a year with each. I loved mine and figured it was just a bad one, until I bought the second and after less than a year, I had a puff of white smoke and it burned up too. I followed all of the instructions, for cleaning too.

I've bought 2 of these sets, one for myself and one as a gift. BOTH had the seal in the screw on base come off. It's hard to make smoothies when your ingredients run out the bottom!! Poor manufacturing quality.
