Sure beats the Blendjet

I fell for the BlendJet hype and 3 months later the thing conked out. Lucky for me I still had my Magic Bullet that I bought 3 yrs ago +/-. Took it out, plugged it in, added some yogurt, a few raspberries and strawberries and made a great smoothie. Thank you, Magic Bullet for continuing to carry this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Motor burned out!

Worked great until tried to make 4 smoothies in a row and the motor burned out! Same thing happened to my daughter's Magic Bullet! Definitely would not recommend. Too expensive to change motor!

11yrs and still going!

I got this 11 years ago as part of a 2-1 deal with a baby bullet. The baby bullet survived at least 5 yrs and 4 babies before I lost track of it. My bullet is still going strong and I have only come to this site to order a replacement blade. I ordered a substitute replacement blade from a different company and it barely lasted a year.

Major mechanical oversite!

I bought my first Magic Bullet years ago and loved it! It was perfect for me as a busy Mom on the go. It gradually wore out and finally stopped after blending thing for my family every day for years. I automatically bought a new one without even shopping around. It worked so well in the past, why would I shop around? I've had the new one for a month and it's already broken. It chewed through the rubber teeth that spin the blades. Clearly the teeth rubber teeth and the plastic teeth that are supposed to work together to spin the blades are not lining up properly. Everytime I use it I end up with dust coming off of them as they are slowly ground down. It's a major mechanical problem. Now I'm having to get another blender. I'm definitely shopping around now.

Newer units are not as good as old units

I used my girlfriends old black unit and it works great, so I bought one. The new unit was orange and was weak and overheated quickly. They sent a new blade but that did not help, so they sent me a new grey unit that worked better but not as good as the old black one. Both newer units bog down under load, then stop in less than a minute, and smell hot/burning.

Best piece of kitchen equipment

I've had my Magic Bullet for more than 15 years and my partner and I joke that this thing WILL NOT DIE. It is the most reliable piece of kitchen equipment I've ever owned. We use it every single day for our morning smoothies, and use it often to make different dips, or to grind dried herbs etc. It's also made nut butters with ease.

Great if you love plastic in your food

Very first time I used this product the clear plastic near the blades was so scratched I had to wonder how much plastic I was eating.. Just want to return for a refund
