Terrible sound when you press the power button

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this as a gift for Christmas, When you turn the power on the audio goes completely nuts! A extremely loud noise comes from the speakers for a few seconds then goes to normal. This sounds happens every time I press the power on, very annoying! What I do now is turn the volume all the way down before I power off the unit so when I power on the next time I don’t have to listen to that noise at start up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Little BlueRay DVD player
