I bought this so my son could watch the blu ray anime series he got for Christmas. Considering they're getting close to VHS status, it was a little spendy and the remote didn't even come with batteries. It works though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Perfectly Straightforward Experience

My family has used this player for years, and it’s such a good, straightforward way to watch our DVDs and Blu Ray discs. Got this as a birthday present for my new place, and it works as well as ever!

This replaced an Oppo BDP 83 that failed. I was using the Oppo just to play CDs in my den system. I simply needed a CD player to use on occasion.
