This replaced an Oppo BDP 83 that failed. I was using the Oppo just to play CDs in my den system. I simply needed a CD player to use on occasion.

A Perfectly Straightforward Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this so my son could watch the blu ray anime series he got for Christmas. Considering they're getting close to VHS status, it was a little spendy and the remote didn't even come with batteries. It works though.
