Easy to Use!

We bought this unit last spring and it was a lifesaver last summer. I was unsure of how good a mini split unit would perform in our home and therefore put off buying one for a few years. We were at a friends house who had just purchased one and we were quite surprised at how easily it cooled their large living/dining area, how easy it was to install and how affordable it was. We have an above ground raised ranch and wanted the unit for our living space on second level which is usually very hot in summer. We placed the unit in our living/dining room directly across from hallway leading to 3BRs & Bath. This unit is so strong It cools our house almost all the way to end bedrooms, despite the fact that the stairway leading downstairs to our foyer is only 15’ away from where the unit is blowing. We do still require another ac unit in the bedrooms but we are so happy that this unit actually cools almost the whole upstairs area. In the past we couldn’t even cook or enjoy eating upstairs because it was just to hot. Now we actually need sweaters while sitting in living room. We are thinking of getting another smaller unit for the bedroom. My husband and son did the installation without any problems. Greatest investment we ever made!! Don’t hesitate if you’re thinking of buying one they are worth every penny.

DIY all the way

Purchased the unit last summer. My brother and I did the installation - it does require four hands. Followed the instructions and just like that, the unit was installed, lines charged and cables energized - the cooling unit works great, the heat too! I've had many of my friends ask about it and one just bought one for an extra room. Great product.

I bought this unit after much research and am very happy with the performance. I am very handy and although it is a DIY unit it really is at least a two person job. Also if you are not comfortable with electrical should get someone to assist with electrical connections.

Very Efficient

I bought this in the summer, mostly to cool my sunroom on really muggy days, but also for backup heat to compliment my ventless gas stove. Turns out MrCool is more efficient than the stove, so I am using it most of the time.

Great for Workshop

This has been a great addition to my garage workshop! I installed it myself which went as advertised and no problems. It worked great for cooling in the Las Vegas summer heat. It has been heating the garage in the colder weather as well. I should say that the garage is insulated and is about 650 sq ft. I have not noted any major change to my electric bill but i only run it when i am working in the area.
