Best addition to the House!

My garage had no hvac and I really needed a solution, had this 6 months now and is the best addition to the house! Cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Me and a friend did the install and could not have been easier for what it is. I would highly recommend one of these to anyone and will probably put another one in my workshop.

Works great!

I installed my unit about a month ago and it works great! I would love to see optional line set lengths and a 20+ seer unit in the diy units.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We do offer additional line set lengths as an optional purchase from many of our online vendors, however the 25 foot comes standard in the box. Our DIY24K model is SEER2 22.7. The best thing I've done

Been running in my detached garage for 6 mos. Now, keeping it a consistant 62 degrees. Winter,or summer. If I could, I would get another for my house!

Awesome unit!

I purchased the Mr Cool 24,000 BTU for my 3 car garage in the desert of Arizona and it runs cooler then my new AC in my house! This unit heats fast and cools fast. My garage temperature runs about 80 degrees in the summer heat of 105-110 degrees. I have not insulated my walls and ceiling yet and I am amazed with this units cooling. The installation was very easy and the best part was the small opening I had to put in the wall. I highly recommend the Mr Cool system.

Hearing that it’s outperforming the new AC in your house—even without insulation in the garage yet—is incredible. Keeping a 3-car garage at 80°F when it's 110°F outside is no small feat. Once you get those walls and ceilings insulated, that unit is going to be living the easy life! We’re also glad you appreciated the small wall footprint; we’re big fans of keeping things simple and clean.

Brought this in July just as hot humid weather came in. Took a day to hook up and boy it works great, keeps my garage cool,and now its winter my garage is nice and warm
