Just bought this air conditioner a few days ago. Love that it doesn’t block window view and that was the main reason that I purchased. Unit is quite large and required 2 people to install. Very quiet when operating (almost too quiet for me since I like to hear white noise in room when I go to sleep).
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC unit is absolutely wonderful. It took 2 people to install this window unit but it was pretty easy to do. I love the unique design of this unit so much. It fits OVER the window sill instead of sitting on top of it, which allows me to see out of my window. No more big, bulky units taking up almost half of my window! It's also super sleek looking as well. I love it so much, I want the rest of my units replaced to this design. The unit cool my room quickly and efficiently and definitely it not as loud as other units. I like that the displays dims after so long because I like my room be as dark as possible when I sleep, so that is a handy little feature. You can also connect this to wifi and use your phone or smart speaker to control it. There are extra features when connecting to your phone, such as setting it up to turn on when you arrive home (via location services) and monitoring your energy consumption. This is such a step up from the a/c units i've had in the past and would definitely recommend this product.

Low profile and powerful cooling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation definitely requires 2 people to install safely and can be a bit tricky with a larger windowsill. Once installed, the first think you notice is how much better it looks over traditional window AC units. Maintaining most of your view and natural light is definitely an underappreciated feature. As for cooling, it can overcome hot and humid Florida in a medium sized room, but be careful to make sure the condensation flows properly out the back.

Truly QUIET!

I was skeptical about this being as quiet as claimed. It is! Even at high speed it's quiet. I'm an old coot who has to wear hearing aids. I can watch movies at normal levels and hear everything. Having a great Bose sound system certainly helps, but really, I hardly know the AC is on. Very happy I bought this. And the price is reasonable. Get one! Was able to install myself.

Keeps my room COOOLLDD!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new GE window air conditioner is awesome! First off, I love how i don't have to crack my window half way. With this, you only need to crack it maybe 1/4 or 1/5 of the way. The noise is quite and contained - you don't get a lot of raddle like other window units. Very powerful as it keeps my room nice and cold!

GE Profile Series AHTT06BC Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well first off I love the design and how it fits, almost like a C-Clamp. When I did turn it on, I was absolutely surprised at how quiet it was which I was so glad about. I did not have to turn the temperature very low at all, like my other ac unit. The whole room was so comfortable. If you are planning on buying a window unit, then this is the one you need.

Finally got it installed in my small shed. I use this shed for storage and crafting. This AC works really well. Especially living here in Florida. Would recommend for small areas.
