This air conditioner is very easy to install but you need 2 people to place it in your window it's about 50 lbs. It keeps the area very cool.

The installation instructions on YouTube by GE were excellent. Easy to install with 2 people. Very quiet. Cool air. Nice looking in window.

This air conditioner was a little on the pricey side but worth it. Easy install and you can still see out of your window. It is super quiet. I would definitely purchase another one.

Pours Water INSIDE My House!

The drain port is on the INSIDE part of the unit that is IN your house rather than outside and constantly drains water. I have to use a bucket to collect the water and am continually emptying it. Horrible design! Why would you have an AC drain on the INSIDE of someone’s house? Stupid!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is not expected that the water will continuously drain from the indoor side as the unit will automatically pump water to the outside. The inside portion will only need to be drained if an error indicator flashes and the unit shuts off. If there is no error indicator and the unit is operating as normal, then it is working as it should. Please ensure that both the filter plug and drain cap are tightly secure to prevent any drips, and that the unit has been installed level from left to right. Love how it only takes up a little bit of your window. Cooling is great, and cools quickly. I put it in my bedroom and the unit is extremely quiet.

Just bought this air conditioner a few days ago. Love that it doesn’t block window view and that was the main reason that I purchased. Unit is quite large and required 2 people to install. Very quiet when operating (almost too quiet for me since I like to hear white noise in room when I go to sleep).
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC unit is absolutely wonderful. It took 2 people to install this window unit but it was pretty easy to do. I love the unique design of this unit so much. It fits OVER the window sill instead of sitting on top of it, which allows me to see out of my window. No more big, bulky units taking up almost half of my window! It's also super sleek looking as well. I love it so much, I want the rest of my units replaced to this design. The unit cool my room quickly and efficiently and definitely it not as loud as other units. I like that the displays dims after so long because I like my room be as dark as possible when I sleep, so that is a handy little feature. You can also connect this to wifi and use your phone or smart speaker to control it. There are extra features when connecting to your phone, such as setting it up to turn on when you arrive home (via location services) and monitoring your energy consumption. This is such a step up from the a/c units i've had in the past and would definitely recommend this product.
