Super quiet

Just had the clearview installed on my sun porch. It covers only a few inches of my window and is unbelievably quiet. It keeps the room very comfortable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this unit! Love that is has a super quiet mode as well as auto, eco, delay and is Wi-Fi-enabled. I didn’t think I would use that feature very often but I was wrong. I use it daily! Love how it show me electricity usage too.
Bought another on first and aside from being really loud, it couldn’t cool my room (was only 100 but’s less).
While this unit is a little pricey, it was totally worth it. Also feels so secure in my second story window.

Can’t turn off Wi-Fi light

This air conditioner does not use the built-in WiFi module until you activate it during the set-up process to connect it to your home WiFi and our SmartHQ app. If you no longer want it to be connected to your home WiFi, you can disconnect it from the app. If you have other questions about connecting your appliance, we'd recommend reaching out to the Connected Home Support Line at 1-800-220-6899, Monday - Friday 9am - 11pm ET, Saturday - Sunday 9am - 3pm ET, or email connected@help.geappliances.com

This air conditioner was securely packaged and included well thought out installation parts and instructions. The unit was extremely easy to install and lives up to its name, ClearView, allowing light and view through the window after installation. The unit is whisper quiet; you don't even know it is running unless you stand beside it. I highly recommend it.

Exactly What I Needed

I was terrified of putting a traditional window AC unit in my 2nd floor bedroom window. I hated the idea of needing to install a bracket into the window frame to keep the unit from falling out the window and crashing to the ground below. When searching for window units of this BTU range, I found this awesome one that wraps around the lower half of the windowsill and places the weight on the bottom of the window, evenly distributing the weight and eliminating the risk of the unit falling out.
As far as functionality, it's great! The Eco setting of the fan fades out to be gentle background noise after just a few minutes. The wifi feature (if you choose to use it) can see when your phone leaves the house and set the unit to "away mode" to conserve energy, then switch back to "home mode" once you get back and start cooling a bit more.
I took my time with the installation, reading the instructions probably 3 times before putting a single thing in the window. I cleaned the window and windowsill thoroughly and put each thing in place carefully. When I was done, the window was thoroughly sealed, the unit was securely in place, and nothing moved or shifted from where it should be.
10/10 - Would recommend, especially for people scared of a window unit falling out (or being dislodged by a criminal to get inside)
