Nice Machine Tough Install

The reason I ordered this AC is because of the size. It just fit our small window. It runs fine with little noise. It is quite heavy and does need two people to move it. On the install we had to open it to “number two” to get it to fit over our sill. The biggest problem was that we have vinyl siding and the “adjusters” kept getting stuck under the trim of the window. We finally use some wood to “secure” the siding and then the install worked fine. It is great having the AC in our bedroom for the first time.

Keeps the room cool

Between the 1000 watts of gaming computer and the cycling trainer in my office, I needed something to keep the room cool above the central A/C. I found a good solution.

As quiet as advertised

This unit is the quietest window ac I’ve owned or seen. The installation was involved, but not hard. Instructions are well-written. It’s a big, heavy beast though, so definitely have a second person ready when time to lift and seat it into the window space. Like that it does not make the room dark, but leaves most of the lower pane clear for light and views. Haven’t been successful in connecting to wi-fi yet.

Cool idea. QC issues have me concerned

I went through two of these units. The first one was completely missing the box of accessories. The second had major physical damage to the frame of the unit. The damage was beneath the styrofoam packing, and had to occur before the unit was packaged.
The unit does work well and the app is nice. There are some annoying vibrations that I had to figure out how to eliminate. Also, It is very easy to damage window trim while installing this unit. Please be careful.
