This is a lot less expensive than the name brand ink cartridge. The only problem is that the machine starts saying the cartridge is low after only a couple of weeks of use. Still the cartridge will last months beyond that first date of the low ink indication. I wonder if there is a defect in the sensor that indicates low ink. I would buy this again because it is way more economical than the ink I would have to purchase from my postage machine provider. Great service from Staples in the way of speedy delivery!

I decided to try the Staples brand of Postage meter ink mainly because the cost of brand name ink was too expensive. Staples brand works just as well for a fraction of the cost. Also I get next day delivery so I don't have to wait the extra week or two to receive the product. Great value at a great price with great availability.

Great ink except for the "bleeding"

This ink works great in our postage meter. It is easy to change reasonably priced and lasts (unlike some store brand ink). The only issue with this ink is that when replacing the cartridge the old one drips ink. The first time I changed it I had red ink all over my hands and the desk. I felt a bit like I had entered into an episode of CSI! Next time the ink needed changing I made sure I had some paper towels ready and all was well. Other than the leakage problem this ink cartridge is great. I highly recommend it.

These meters are great for convenience and efficiency. However the ink and supplies are amazingly expensive through the vendor. They seem to run out all the time! Then you have to order the supplies and wait for the delivery. Staples offers these ink cartridges at a competive price making it a worthwhile alternative for savings. We have been buying this cartridge from Staples over the last two years and it has performed as well as the vendor's offering with the the added convenience of same day pick-up when we need it.
