Very Impressive

I have had a number of shredders through the years and really needed one that would hold up to my use. I just bought this shredder and am very impressed with it!!!! It is very quiet and efficient. I would definitely recommend this product.

Still messy

This is at least the third shredder I've bought of various brands. This is the most expensive and is so new I hardly know how to rate it on most items. In the short time I've had it, it certainly has shredded everything I've thrown at it. It's intelligent enough to tell you when you've given it too much -- which should go far in making it jam proof. It's touchy safety feature seems to make it a little slower than the Ativa it replaced to grab onto the load and grind it up. (How much do we really need to interfere with Darwin on some of this stuff?) But I have one major gripe with this shredder that is the same as with the others: You might as well haul out the vacuum cleaner when you empty the bin because you're going to have a mess. I can buy garbage bags that will fit over the bin, but why can't a simple hand grip be molded into the bottom of these bins? Don't the designers ever empty these things?

This is the best investment on a shredder I have ever made. It's alot more of a work horse than the one I had. I love that it is not as loud as my old shredder. For this heavy duty shredder I feel the price is good. If you are thinking about buying it don't hesitate.

We have had and shared a heavy-duty Fellowes shredder for a year, have never had any issues, if anything have been pleasantly surprised. Now advanced to the smaller deskside version, rather than run along the hallways to shred. And absolute pleasure, and it officially handle staples, CD's and Credit Cards as well. If more of the Directors get envious we will buy this exact model for them.

Cons: i can't think one that i had to attach wheels?

Love how quite it is and that it shreds so fast. Much better than our old one. Just wish it would hold even more but it does hold a lot for the price of it. And it easy to empty without making a giant mess.

We just received the shredder in the mail today. I have to say we are very pleased so far. Its very quiet to top it all off. Our last shredder we had to wait for people to be off the phone so we didn't interrupt. I hope it will last us for several years.
