The 99ci shredder is performing as advertised and it is very quiet. On the negative side, it did not come with the document holder that is pictured or stated in the product description.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Warranty, Safety Features
Cons: document holder not included as advertised

I love this shredder and it does everything I want it to do. I have not had any problems with it at all and happy that I chose to go ahead and get it.

Call me "Happy!"

When I couldn't find a commercial shredding company to take my six-foot-tall stack of boxes holding business and personal records (they work in tons, apparently,) I decided to buy the 99Ci. When I have a spare 15 minutes I feed stacks of paper into it and it chews through everything with ease. At this rate I'll be finished quickly. Call me "Happy!"

Better than expected

Sleek, professional looking - this shredder is so nice. After struggling for 10 years with a substandard, cranky shredder, we scraped up money from the budget for a new one.
This is amazing, it can shred more than one page...shreds CDs too. This is like going from analog to digital. Really nice! Supposedly it can shred 17 pages at one time, but I'd never try that - our employees were always jamming the shredder, so hopefully this will make life a little easier on me, the shredder unjammer!
We hope to get years of service out of our new shredder. Thank you Fellowes for making such a nice machine!

Go for the best

After bad experiences with lower cost, less robust shredders and comparison shopping, we selected the Fellowes Powershred 99Ci.
It was simple to get working and so far has perfomed to our high expectations.

I am still in the early stages of usage and can't provide a fair depiticion of the 99Ci at this time.
After a few hours of usage I whould be better able to provide an objective review.
I am however impressed with the quietness of the shreder.
