Awesome purchase

This has been a breeze when it comes to shredding documents. I love it! It is fast, easy and you don't even realize when it is done. You cannot beat having this as part of your office environment to help, facilitate and expedite not having an accumulation of unwanted paper around the desk and in your office.

This is a great machine. I would highly recommend this for office use. This is the second shredder of this brand and the quality is awesome. I also have one at my home office/ same brand and model. I will never purchase another brand, why would I want to as this does everything that I need?

The unit operates as described in sales material and description. It is quite and responsive. The safety features exceed needs but are reasonable to stop mis- use and injury. I have only two concerns. One, it is not clear where and how to shred a Cd, credit card, etc. And two, dust -the bin is not bag friendly even though bags are provided.The bin should be redesigned to hold a bag concealed and reshaped to facilitate empting in to a large bag and minimize dust while in operation.

Our 99Ci does shred both CDs and credit cards. In order to shred both objects, simply flip the clear guide so that it covers the paper feed throat. The slit in the throat guide will help to ensure that CDs and credit cards feed straight through the cutting blade. Our 99Ci is designed to work with Fellowes bag 36053. Powershed Cross-Cut Shredder

Great value for the cost of the shredder! The shredder is also easy to operate. The installation of the wheels was a bit difficult, and we were apprehensive to shove then in place due to everything being plastic.

We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty installing the casters though. The casters should simply push in, but sometimes it may require a bit more pressure. Please do not be afraid to apply extra force or use a rubber mallet to lightly tap each caster into place. You want to be sure that they are secure.

Love this shredder!

After having used 3 "cheap" shredders previously, I decided it was worth investing in a good one and have not regretted this purchase so far (have had it for 3 months). It is dependable, quiet, safe and efficient.

A NUKE COULD NOT JAM THIS CROSS-CUT SHREDDER

I INSTRUCTED MY STAFF (WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY RUINED SEVERAL OTHER SHREDDERS) TO TRY TO JAM THIS DEVICE THE FIRST MONTH. THEY TRIED THEIR BEST AND 2 MONTHS LATER THIS SHREDDER WORKS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SHREDDERS FROM THE START. IT EASILY GOES THROUGH UP TO 18 PAGES PER PASS AND IF YOU TRY TO PUT 19 PAGES IN IT STOPS AND WILL NOT CONTINUE THE FEED. I AM AMAZED THAT YOU CANNOT JAM THIS DEVICE. I WILL BE PURCHASING FELLOWES OFFICE EQUIPMENT FROM NOW ON; BUT RIGHT NOW I DO NOT THINK THIS DEVICE WILL EVER WEAR OUT!!!!!!!!!!
