Love my new shredder

Love that I can shred several sheets without jamming. Also it is very quiet. Was helpful that the book told me that the oil was just cooking oil (not the spray kind).
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sheet Capacity, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, Jam Resistance
Cons: did not come with enough trash bags lol

I have only owned this shredder a few weeks. I replaced a Royal shredder that I used frequently but it finally died..after close to 8 yrs. As soon as I unboxed this beast I promptly ran 2 banker boxes stuffed full of outdated receipts and personal papers (approx. 18-20 lbs. of material) non-stop. This shredder never missed a beat...never shut down and never jammed. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase at this point...Remember that you get what you pay for and this was money well spent.

This shredder is awesome in that it is quiet, has nice safeguard, and you can shred more than 1 sheet at a time. Would recommend for families with small children.

A Jaws of a Shredder

Purchased this Shredder based off reading many reviews. This is a replacement shredder, previous was an Ativa cx12w that served me well but finally gave out. If I had to make a comparison between the two, it would be David & Goliath. When they say size matters, it does when it comes to shredders. There is no comparison, this Jaws of a machine shreds like it says, is quiet, and has a huge holding container for the shredded paper. Only use this for home personal use but could easily be placed in an office environment. I take the shredded paper and then turn it into a renewable source, paper logs which we use in our fire pit during the winter months. Have never had to gather or purchase firewood. Great shredder that can handle big shredding, you won't be disappointed. Shane

Herculean Performance!

With the passing of our parents we are faced with the Herculean task of shredding boxes full of sensitive papers. Our little old shredders couldn't even begin to meet the task. In fact, one of our little shredders fried and died trying. Now we are plowing through the mountains of papers. The only thing slowing us down is emptying the bin every 10 minutes. Love it!

As a matter of education, we would like to advise that the unit does have a daily recommended usage rating which can be found in the user manual. Though the unit is designed to accept up to 17 sheets per pass it has a recommended daily capacity of 1,500 sheets. Good When It Works

First one failed new-out-of-the-box. Bad switch. Replacement worked for a while, then switch became problematic - we just left it on all of the time. Now it has failed too. Shredded well when it worked, but unacceptable quality issue for a heavy duty rated office machine, and for a machine at this price.

Cons: Quality Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
