Reliable, durable and extremley functional

Does everything as described, couldn't be happier.
Shreds everything ive thrown at it.
Set up was a breeze, includes trash bags and oil a definite plus!
Automatically cuts off if hand touches the sensor!!

Easy Set-Up

It's only our first day with the shredder but already we noticed:
1. Out of the box, plug it in and it's ready to use.
2. Definitely easy to operate.

Quiet Workhorse

After tearing up our last shredder, this one seems to be holding up so far. If we can keep it oiled and give it time to cool off, I think it should last a while. Don't expect perfection. The opening for paper is very tight for 8.5x11 and it won't let you shred more than 17 sheets, so patience is required.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size

Best Shredder ever used!

This is the best shedder I have ever used and I have used a great number in my time 60 + yrs. It is very quite and preforms as stated. Pleased with the ease of trash removal and indicator of full bin. I was pleased with all aspects of this shredder and would recommend it to anyone I know who is going to by one.

I had several previous shredders and this is the best shredder I have ever owned.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Quality Construction, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Jam Resistance

Find Another

Bought the Fellowes 99Ci shredder to replace another Fellowes shredder that stopped working. (Fellowes refused to stand behind the warranty on that one, even though the cutters were still covered by its 7 year warranty.) I have no idea how they rate this shredder for 17 pages per pass. If I run two 20# sheets through or one piece of card stock type of junk mail, the little meter on it goes all the way up to red, indicating that it's too much! I ran two sheets at a time through this shredder for four minutes and it overheated! WTH?! Piece of junk & I'm returning it. Not as quiet as the last one, either.
Cons: Sheet Capacity, Quiet Operation, poor quality of cutters
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT!!

i had a shredder from an office store and the jamming every time i put in more than 3 sheets of paper in....then sitting for an hour with a nail file and tweezers trying to unjam it......I had it! i went all out and got the 99ci and oh boy what a great machine!! it was a little pricy but well worth it! Quite, great quality...a little larger than i had anticipated but it still fits in my space where my other one was. i would definitely save your pennies for this one! great product! i haven't shredded credit cards yet but i have no doubts that it will do a tremendous job on those too. Start saving!!

99Ci is an Awesome Schredder

We purchased this product to replace a very old Fellowes shredder that was still working but didn't have the power to handle our current needs. Donated it to charity. The 99Ci impressed me with it's well thought out features and design. It is fun to use very quiet, never jammed and I just destroyed about 10 years worth of documents. Also loved the CD DVD shredder. That surprised me how well and painless it was to use. The safety feature was a brilliant idea. Also like the fact that it shows you when your paper basket is full. Like it so much I'm running around looking for more things to shred. This product gets a thumbs up from me. Thank you Fellowes!
