So much better than my old shredder!

I've only had this shredder about a week but I think it is great so far. It shreds just about anything I try to put through it. If you attempt to insert too many pages it will let you know so you can take a few out. If they start through and get too tough for the shredder it will stop back the paper up a little then power it through. I've shredded bank statements in the envelope-- no problem--- old tax papers in the envelope--also no problem. This machine also does it's work quietly. I'll just have to wait and see if it lasts. I believe it will.

It works wonderfully for my small business

I've owned two shredders previous to the Powershred® 99Ci 100% Jam Proof Cross-Cut Shredder. This one works the best of any I've had. I deal with the medical community and destruction of records/files which may contain PHI or HIPPA data is important for my clients and my small consulting business. I would highly recommend this machine for anyone or small businesses that may need to destroy records/data when the expense of large destruction companies in not an option.
Pros: Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity

Excellent, Safe Shredder

My new Fellowes shredder does a great job of shredding documents, even if there are several sheets at a time. It has safety features that prevent injury. It shuts off if hands touch the paper opening. I like the large bin. It doesn't need to be emptied as often as my previous shredder. I am pleased with my purchase.
