Fellowes 99Ci 100% Jam Proof 18-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder

Of all the shredders I have purchased in my lifetime, the Fellowes are the best for me. Last the longest, most reliable. Nothing bad to say. It is not quiet. No shredder is quiet, but it is less loud than others I have had.
Pros: Secure Cut Size, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs
Cons: Quiet Operation

Herculean Performance!

With the passing of our parents we are faced with the Herculean task of shredding boxes full of sensitive papers. Our little old shredders couldn't even begin to meet the task. In fact, one of our little shredders fried and died trying. Now we are plowing through the mountains of papers. The only thing slowing us down is emptying the bin every 10 minutes. Love it!

As a matter of education, we would like to advise that the unit does have a daily recommended usage rating which can be found in the user manual. Though the unit is designed to accept up to 17 sheets per pass it has a recommended daily capacity of 1,500 sheets. This works great compared to other shredders! The advanced technology features are awesome! I'm so happy I tried this machine because it saves me alot of time by not having to remove the staples :)

Cons: color options would be nice instead of basic black

Powershred 99Ci Heavy Duty Cross-Cut Shredder

We've always had some type of small shredder and now have progressed to the stage of needing a heavy duty type that would take care of the majority of paper mess that has accumulated around the house. This Powershred 99 Ci seems to have it all. Thickness of paper that would slow down or stop most other shredders, doesn't seem to be a problem for the 99Ci. Long story short, we're very happy that we purchased this one for the long haul. Anything less just wouldn't cut it. The opinion of others we talked to also said that they felt Fellowes was one of the best names in the market.

Easy Set Up - Very Quiet

This is the first Fellowes Shredder that I have owned. My previous cross-cut shredder was so noisy I had to wait until after work hours to take on shredder projects. This unit is very efficient and very quiet especially compared to my old unit. I highly recommend this cross cut shredder

A Jaws of a Shredder

Purchased this Shredder based off reading many reviews. This is a replacement shredder, previous was an Ativa cx12w that served me well but finally gave out. If I had to make a comparison between the two, it would be David & Goliath. When they say size matters, it does when it comes to shredders. There is no comparison, this Jaws of a machine shreds like it says, is quiet, and has a huge holding container for the shredded paper. Only use this for home personal use but could easily be placed in an office environment. I take the shredded paper and then turn it into a renewable source, paper logs which we use in our fire pit during the winter months. Have never had to gather or purchase firewood. Great shredder that can handle big shredding, you won't be disappointed. Shane

Just got the shredder in. Simple and easy set up. I am very pleased with the power and ease of operation. I had a Fellowes DM12C that has served me very well for over 8 years but needed something that was more powerful. This fills the bill. I shopped on line, read reviews, compared brands and settled on this Fellowes 99Ci. I am very happy I did. If this one serves me as well as my first Fellowes I will be a happy camper.
