Very Pleased

Our office purchased this shredder a few weeks ago and so far we have been very pleased with it. We like the quiet operation, and the safety features. Also, it appears to be built very good. We have had no problems with jams either. We are very happy with the quality of this machine.

Great shredder, Just took out of the box and put the wheels on then it was ready to shred.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Warranty, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Service Guarantee, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Jam Resistance, Mess Reduction

Quiet & Fast

My previous shredder, which I killed by shredding an unopened envelope containing a quarter (who knew?), was another brand, which I bought because it was quiet and used for 5 years. This Fellowes SB-99Ci is even quieter AND FASTER.

I love how quiet this machine is!! The only problem I have with it is the sheet capacity...I think it does less than it is supposed to.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Warranty, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, so quiet!!!

Shredder shreds well and quietly -- for 20-30 minutes, then overheats. One major problem which should be fixable with minor design changes has to do with shreds of paper getting into base of machine, under basket, then onto the floor whenever I change shredder bags. The mess from this then travels through the office and home on shoes. It should be possible to redesign the shredder basket so this no longer occurs. Also, while rated for 17 sheets, it gags sometimes on as few as eight.

Cons: makes a mess when changing bags, often gags on more than 8 sheets (rated for 17)

You should check out our new shredder! Our Fellowes SB-99Ci shredder is so easy to operate and slides right under my desk, but the most important thing to me is the cross-cut feature that allows our office to shred non-essential documents that might have codes, numbers, or other confidential information that actually makes you feel good about getting rid of unneeded paperwork. Thank you Fellowes for once again making such a great product!
