Coming back to Fellowes

After "experimenting" with another brand, I have come back to Fellowes. This new shredder is fast, quiet, and dependable. It is so easy to use. And, I can roll it to my desk if I have a lot of shredding to do. But I think the fact that it is so quiet is one of its best features, especially in a small office.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Warranty, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, Jam Resistance
Cons: Sheet Capacity

This is a great, sturdy, and powerful shredder. I love the long operating time and anti-jam features.

This is the best shredder I ever used. I LOVE to shred. What a great stress reliever!! It makes just enough noise so that I can't hear my wife calling me. Oops . . . I can hear her now that I stopped to type this review. Gotta go . . .

Shredder is quieter than those I've use in the past. I appreciate the warning when you try to shred too many papers.

My office now has 3 of these shredders. I've only had a problem with one and Fellowes customer service quickly corrected it with fast, friendly service. I am definitely a customer for life.

Fast, powerful shredder

I've had this shredder a few weeks and it has thus far performed very well!
It is very fast, more powerful than I expected (it eats large stacks of paper without problems) and pretty quiet. Easy to oil, looks nice, and the space-ship looking info lights are neat. Safesense works as advertised, shutting off the motor when a finger goes near the mouth of the shredder. The document holder can be mounted on either side, a handy bonus.
It's interesting that the slide-out basket comes out the skinny way, whereas most come out the wide way. Works well for my particular desk configuration!
The only negative I can see is that some of the shreds miss the basket. You must reach in there and scoop them out when emptying the basket. Very few, but enough to make a neat-nick like myself notice.
Overall, a great shredder for the money!

This is not the first Fellowes shredder that I have owned. But is by far the BEST. Very quiet. Very smooth. Fast. Rarely jams.
