Love it, love it, love it!!!

I had had it with the rooty-poot shredders. When I decided to open my business that must honor HIPPA guidelines, I knew I had no time to mess with paper jams or only shredding 3-5 pages at one time. Enter SB-99Ci. I chose it because it claimed to be 100% Jam-proof...it was not just a claim...it is fact! It really does shred 17 pages. I have no problems with the shredder-it shreds flawlessly. I even find myself looking for things to shred...the thicker the pile the better! And it is so quiet! It is amazing! I can't comment on the warranty because I have no need for it, but it does come with some type of warranty. I also love that it is compact, has a side pocket to store paper "to be shred" and it really does shred credit cards, too. Love it, love it, love it!!!

I have purchased at least four shredders which have been expensive buisness equipment junk. This has been the best shredder I have purchased.
Pros: Quality Construction, Jam Resistance, Secure Cut Size

I Love this Machine

Our old shredder was making a horrid noise and would only shred on sheet of paper and then only gradually. This machine is wonderful. It shreds anything I put in it and the only time is jammed is when the bag was full. Once I packed the paper down, it started right up again without pressing the start button again. I love this baby.

Cons: doesn't shred adhesives

New shredder, works great

We just received this shredder and we have been using it for about a week. It is very durable and we have not had a jam yet! The only thing it needs is a power save mode so the little blue light does not have to stay on all the time.

I have no complaints about this product at all. It has lived up to all my expectations.
The one criticism stems from the protection of the shipping carton. The edges were well protected, but the sides were not. UPS, tried their best to damage the unit with holes in the sides, that were not protected.

Best Shredder I've Used to Date

Got this shredder (the SB-99Ci) back in February 2009 and have been using it since. No jams yet, and it shreds through everything I've thrown at it. I mainly shred junk and sensitive mail and usually stock pile them and shred them in one sitting. The 17 sheet capacity on this thing is awesome! It's wide enough to accommodate most shreds without much action on your part other than feeding things to shred through.
In the past, I've used and broken several cheaper, lesser capacity, lesser quality shredders (not Fellowes brand) so I can definitely tell the quality difference between them. The initial price may be (seem to be) a bit high but it's worth every dollar.
Just as a note, I didn't check off 'Service Guarantee' or 'Warranty' for 'Pros' for this machine, as I have yet to need to use either. I did register my machine when I first got it though.
Bottom line is, if you shred things on a regular basis and want to save yourself some time and hassle of replacing jammed up shredders, get one of these. You won't regret your investment in this machine.

Great shredder

We purchased this shredder to replace a more expensive one that did nothing but jam, and eventually the motor overheated and died. This shredder is quiet and works wonderfully. We are really glad we purchased this product.
