We've had a competitor's bed for about 15 years and love it. But the last couple years we've 'tweeked' it with a mattress topper for extra comfort (we've both had two back surgeries each!). Bought the best mattress toppers available at Kohl's, and they're great for a while. When we saw the great price on the TEMPUR-Topper, we ordered one immediately, and WOW! Not waking up at night anymore because a position was too painful. Forgot how great it is to sleep through the night without pain. Awesome!

Not as great as I expected. It is harder and less molding to the body than I was anticipating. It doesn't alleviate hard spots with joints and bones. In hindsight, I would have gotten the "cooler" version. The single fact that I could not try one out in the store or return it if not satisfied is a MAJOR detracting point. Of course I will keep it, and haul it out from time to time or try to put it on an even smaller, less used bed. We have loved our Tempur-pedic mattress for years, and just anticipated that we would have a similar type of experience. If you are considering getting one, check to see if there's one available for you to try out at one of their RETAIL stores. The closest store to us was in Seattle several hours away. Not one Topper in this state. Recommendation is a qualified MAYBE.

I was not able to get to sleep with this topper on my bed. I immediately removed it after 1 night. Now, I am disappointed that spent close to $300 that cannot be returned and I cannot use. Beware....

Fibromyalgia pressure points can make for terrible sleep. The Tempurpedic topper gives me softness and relieves pain by relieving pressure. Love the topper and wish I had purchased it sooner. The only problem is it tends to slide from side to side dependant on the side you are sleeping on. But it is no problem to reposition. Love it.
