But in the nick of time, I decided to try the Tempur-Adapt Topper and boy I'm glad I did. Buy the three-inch topper, my body is pressure-point free and I'm a side sleeper. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE iT!

This topper is misleading in its claims of support and in actuality offers absolutely no support whatsoever! Please be advised that even with the lightest weight and pressure it completely flattens and leaves you in a mush of flimsy foam. Even folded in half, it is not firm and easily squishes to nothingness between two fingers with minimal effort. Believe me when I say this product is an utter waste of money! I was hoping for support and comfortable as claimed, but, to my great disappointment, it provided neither. My upper back seized up on me on night 2, even though, shame on me, I knew it didn't feel right as soon as I laid down on it night 1. In the wee hours of the morning, I found myself in pain, panic and horror that this grossly expensive topper was not returnable and non refundable. Customer service was no help when I questioned what the topper's foam firmness level (feeling of support or technically how it yields to weight and pressure) was and if there was a weight recommendation because even my 12 lb cat sank next me! Save yourself the headache of buyer's remorse and the back pain that you will most definitely experience if you are looking and in need of support. Now to figure out what to do with this cumbersome pile of garbage. Oh and furthermore the cooling effect is a joke as well. Happy sleep to all.

I had tried several other popular toppers. After reading reviews about the TEMPUR-Adapt® Topper I decided to try it. I can report that it has relieved my shoulder and lower back pain. I sleep better and the topper does not make me feel hot. I sleep mostly on my stomach and side, sometimes on my back. No matter the position this topper has not hindered my sleep or caused me to wake up feeling sore. I gave it 4 out of 5 because I have had the topper for several weeks and there are parts of the edges and corner that never unfurled properly. It is not any thing that I can feel as I have placed it at the end of the bed, however I feel it should have expanded properly as stated in the product description.

I had purchased a Tempur-Pedic topper in the past, one that is not sold anymore. It used to give the option to pick the firmness, but when purchasing a new one, it did not. I needed a new one so I took a chance, but unfortunately it was much too soft for me. I have scoliosis and my hips are misaligned, and it just did not provide as much support as my last one. It is non-returnable/refundable, which is my fault for not reading that beforehand lol. I do not recommend this for others with back issues! For those that like softness, go for it! :)
