After injuring my back and shoulder lifting heavy furniture, my old mattress became too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. For months, I suffered from worsening pain and struggled to get a full nights' sleep. I was thisclose to buying a new mattress (even though I bought my current mattress just three years ago) when I read about the TEMPUR-Adapt +Cooling topper and decided to give it a try. This topper is a lifesaver! It provides great support and the cooling cover adds to the comfort. Even the very first night, I sleep through the night and wake up rested. The best part: No more back and shoulder pain! Thank you Tempur-Pedic!

Better than advertised

I read all the reviews and was a bit skeptical about the cost vs. return. I've had three previous toppers on a good mattress and suffer from sciatica, some mornings I hurt so bad a hot shower is the only thing that gets me to the erect position but I've always suspected my bed and or pillow was contributory to my discomfort. I got the topper a week ago at 8 pm, I knew it was compacted and had some chemical smell but I open it and put it on my bed fully intending to sleep on it the same night. I slept on and it was a lot different than what my normal sleeping experience had been, it was firm but soft, pressure points were relieved as I had read in several previous reviews, when I woke up the next morning I really didn't notice a big difference. The second night however was a game changer. I figured the topper had a full 24 hours to expand so the second night would be the test to see if the topper was the "real deal" or not. The next morning I felt better than the first night but the third night was the best night of rest I've had in years and most of my back pain gone! Truthfully, it exceeded my expectations and I would certainly recommend it. The odor is a non issue for me and have acute asthma and I'm very sensitive to chemical odors. There were two negatives, the tracking never updated from "your product has Shipped". I had to email customer service to get a delivery date, then the topper went to a UPS NorCal Distribution center where I live, but instead of going out for delivery, it was sent to Las Vegas which is on UPS. My little Pugs love it too.

Purchased this topper out of desperation. Have an expensive very firm mattress which worked for us for awhile, until developing sciatica. Topper relieves pressure and makes a restful night possible. Worth the price
