[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over a period of time my wife and I have tried many mattress toppers with lukewarm satisfaction. Once again we decided to obtain a new mattress and a new mattress topper. We came upon the Temper- Pedic and what a change. The very first night of sleeping on it, we both had the best sleep that we enjoyed in a many years! No more pains in our joints and back from moving all around. Once in bed we were as comfortable as new born baby. The honeymoon is over and our topper is just as comfortable as it was the first night of the trial. Great topper at a great price.

The design of this mattress has changed for the worse

I have been an avid Tempur-Pedic customer for many years having purchased many of their products. When we recently purchased a new, larger bed there was no question of whether or not to purchase a Tempur-Pedic topper for it. Unfortunately, when the topper arrived, it was noticeably and considerably softer than the prior version we had purchased. Based on the weight and size of the two toppers side-by-side, the new version is at least 30% less dense and therefore a lot less supportive and springy. The change of terminology from "Supreme" to "Cloud" is intended to denote this change in softness but softer is not better in this case. High quality memory foam is supposed to be supportive while molding to your body and that quality only comes from the density of the foam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Firmness Changed. This is Softer Than Our First Topper

We are on our third topper because we've activated the warranty TWICE in four years. The first two split and cracked, so we had them replaced (a process that was fair and easy, so kudos there), but this new topper is way softer than the first two, which we actually liked. For some reason, the company changed its firmness. Maybe it had to do with the splitting problem. Whatever, we don't like it nearly as much in the two weeks we've had it.
