Quality product but too soft for me

I bought this topper for a retreat where the cabin beds are thin little pads and pretty uncomfortable to sleep on. Unfortunately this topper was too soft and I felt like I was sinking in the middle. I was hoping for more support as I currently have a tailbone injury which is causing some low back pain. However the topper does feel very plush and soft and perhaps on a firm bed it would be better.

It does not cushion my hip well and my husband having more back issues. It is more difficult to turn over at night. We have a good mattress but choose one that is somewhat firm, so was hoping to alleviate some of the pain we have when sleeping. The quality of the topper is well made with little off-gassing, but does not meet our needs.

I have considered buying a new bed many times over the past few years, but such a purchase seemed wasteful to me since my mattress worked fine; it just wasn't as comfortable as it used to be. One night, the idea of buying a topper occurred to me. I clicked over to Wirecutter to check their recommendation, and this product was the top rated. I ordered one that night. It transformed my sleeping experience. My bed now feels like a premium hotel bed. I liked the topper so much that one week later I bought another one--to similarly transform the sleeping experience on the pullout sofa bed I have for guests. I am delighted with my purchases.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had surgery six months ago for a hip fracture. I thought a high quality memory foam topper would make me more comfortable in bed. It's true that when I'm lying on my back, the Tempur-Pedic is comfortable; however, turning on my side is extremely difficult and once on my side, my legs can't relax. I will try it for another week, then throw it out if I can't get used to it (it can't be returned) and look for a firm mattress topper. I'm 5'3" and weigh 130 lbs. I recommend this mattress for young, agile people and/or backsleepers.

I got the topper-it is comfortable. The problem I found is it doesn't fit the mattress fully each side is about 2 1/2 inches short on each side. I ordered and payed for the cooling technology which was not worth the money, I wake up during the night sweating by morning even my hair is wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old topper with the Tempur-Adapt topper and it made for a much cooler and better sleep. There is some slight odor that dissipates after a few weeks but nowhere near as strong as other toppers I've bought.

When I'm on the edge it just compresses to where it makes me want to roll off. I had an older version and loved it, but this new stuff is no good. Too soft and squishy like a sponge not like tempur material.
