This mattress topper kept me from moving apartments

I live in New York City in an apartment above both an FDNY station and a NYPD station, across from a major arena for sporting events and concerts, and across the street from a loud and active construction site. I inherited a cheap mattress after I had to dump my old one due to bed bugs a year prior. I was not getting any sleep for the last year and had resolved to move, even though my location (despite all the noise) was great and the rent was cheap. This mattress topper changed all of that. For the first time in a year, I not only sleep but I sleep WELL. The second I put this on my bed, I laid down to test it out and woke up 12 hours later and my alarm was going off for work. I was so comfortable I had fallen asleep in my clothes. I've been using this for about 2 months and it is still in great shape! My only critique is that it kind of slides around the top of my mattress, so I wish there was a way to secure it. It doesn't start to really become noticeable until after about 1.5 weeks, which is when I wash my bedding anyways so I'm able to readjust it. Highly recommend as a more affordable alternative to buying a new mattress or moving apartments lol.

Right out of the box, I slept on it and it was the first time in a long time that I got up the next morning and back not hurting. Having used it for a while now, it is still very comfortable. Great purchase. Saved a lot of money over buying a new mattress.

I experienced immediate cessation of waking up multiple times during the night to adjust my sleeping position. I exit the bed in the morning without the marked stiffness and discomfort that I had come to expect as a normal aspect of aging. Summer can get quite hot where I live and my biggest concern prior to purchase was that memory foam would be too warm for sleeping. We have had some warm nights since I purchased it and I have had no experience of "hotbed" syndrome. I am sleeping so well that I have enough energy to embark on long-postponed home projects. This entire review sounds like an infomercial, but it is actually just my grateful thanks for this Tempur-pedic miracle. Other memory foam toppers I've tried helped somewhat, but none were as transforming for me as this queen Tempur-pedic topper. My only complaint is that it shifts down the bed slightly, leaving a narrow valley near the headboard, but any mattress topper will do that. The only cure would be to buy the mattress rather than the topper.

8 Years Old and Still Like New

I don't know how many cheap memory foam mattresses and toppers my husband and I went through until I finally bought this topper in x-long twin. The mattress was still lumpy and had little support but this topper made it so much better that my husband went out and bought the Tempur-pedic split king mattress closest to the topper. The topper still goes with me when I travel, to make it possible to sleep on a hard futon frame or on the floor. It evens out a too soft mattress for temporary purposes. (old spring beds) Buy cheap toppers every year or buy once and be done for over 8 years so far. We do keep our heat down so I have a 2 inch softer topper for winter as the foam does stiffen upa little below 65 degrees. That is the only Con. Better comfort. Does not lose it's memory. Better Buy.

I can finally sleep on my mattress again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older box spring mattress that I can not afford to replace right now. It is in good shape but hard as a brick and the older I get the more uncomfortable it gets. I have tried multiple toppers to no avail. I discovered that Tempurpedic has a topper while searching online and daydreaming about owning a Tempurpedic mattress. I decided to bite the bullet and ordered the topper. I have had it for several months and I can honestly say it is the best on the market. Other toppers were squishy and made me feel like a folded up taco and did not help with the hard mattress even when I would put two toppers on top of each other. This one allows the support of the extra firm mattress to support my back (which I need) but takes the edge off of the soreness I get from sleeping on it. I am able to finally fall asleep again at night. If the topper is this great, I can only imagine what the mattress must be like!
