[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this topper for a couple of months now. I was experiencing lower back pain during the night and in the morning when I woke up. I needed to do something, but I loved my firm mattress. I looked online for solutions other than buying a new mattress, and saw reviews for the Temper Pedic mattress topper. I decided to give it a try. After my first night sleeping on it, I woke up with NO back pain! The second night, same thing. It wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better. The third day I took a rest on my bed during the day with my blanket on top of the mattress topper, and it was better! It wasn't quite so squishy (since I like firm mattress) but it still had the support I needed. That night I slept with the blanket on the mattress topper and I slept on top of the blanket. It was perfect! Ever since, I have been using that technique, with a double thick fleece blanket on top of the topper. It works great for me and it's so nice not to have back pain anymore!!

I was having a lot of hip pain and I'm having significant less issues with it since getting this topper. I really want a tempurpedic mattress but not an option right now and this definitely is a close second to that. I've had toppers in the past and they don't even come close to the quality and comfort this does!
