It was delivered in a roll, like a sleeping bag. It quickly took shape - that's great. It's just too soft and doesn't hold "bounce back" like my previous Tempur-pedic.

The topper has been broken in but it I now wake up feeling stiff and achy which is now actually worse than before purchasing the topper. Some days aren't so bad.

First of all, this topper is much more firm than I expected. I read the reviews and went on Utube to learn more about the topper since no stores where I live have this topper. It was described as medium firm. I don't agree with that. Secondly, I have a twin bed and the topper slides. I've tried turning it different ways and it still slides. In all fairness, I am still getting used to the topper. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks. I would strongly suggest trying out the topper before buying.

You can literally knock on this mattress topper. My husband and I purchased this after finding out that it's supposed to make your mattress 2.5-3pts softer. This is not true. The topper is hard as a floor, yet you also still sink into it, in a very uncomfortable kind of way. Once you sink, it is very difficult to move. I would never describe it as soft. I would describe it as being like quick sand, stuck and uncomfortable. They're not returnable. I'm so disappointed especially because of how expensive it was..... now I have to go spend more money on another. Thanks a lot :(

This "3 inch topper" is only 2 inches thick when measured. It is advertised as medium firm; it is not. It is extremely soft. If you sleep close to the edge, DO NOT BUY THIS! You will fall/roll right off in the middle of the night because this thing doesn't have any edge support. Basically if you want to sleep on what feels like a thick comforter, this is for you. However if you are like me and have the ache and pains that come with being middle aged, don't waste your money on this. I have had this thing less than a week and I'm hurting all over.

Unfortunately, the Tempur-Topper I purchased is not what I expected, even though I read the reviews, beforehand. I was looking for something that would help my back pain, but it didn't help at all. Because we were unable to return it, we purchased a thick, mattress pad cover to go over it, which helped a little. We are still trying to decide if we will keep it on our bed or not! I'm assuming it would be very comfortable for anyone that doesn't have back issues, since it is thick and well made.

I had the king size topper on my bed for about 4 weeks. Felt like I was sleeping in quick sand. Lower back hurt. Now it lays on my floor. Not sure what to do with it
