I put this topper over a 12 yo sleep number mattress. I could not adjust the mattress for comfortable sleep anymore. Buying a new mattress wasn't in the budget. This fit the bill. It works well for me in all but one respect. I sleep hot and this keeps the heat. However, it is so comfortable that I can fall asleep almost immediately. I wake up later because I am hot and have to readjust my position in the bed. However, I get more sleep than I did before I bought it and I didn't have to spend thousands of dollars.

Finally, a mattress topper that transforms a traditional mattress to the perfect level of comfort! I purchased the first one during an extended stay with my mom, and got my second for my own bed once I returned home. Neither mattress is new, but the topper makes me he both feel new. This topper is to heavy, too dense when you get in bed is hard to turn, get in or out of bed Pls let me know when you guys come out with a better product. The bed is ok. The only reason I did not returned is because my bedroom is in the second floor and Can not lift the topper
