It took over 2 weeks to get rid of the horrible smell, but, if you have the patience for that, it's well worth it. We put the topper on our guest bed, rolled it up as tight as we could several times a day, and that removed the smell, but it took awhile. We are now enjoying it on our own bed, and love it.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Support, Holds Shape
Cons: Horrible smell when new.

First slept on one at my sisters house. Best sleep I'd had in a long time. She told me I had to get one of my own, and I ordered it before I left her house to go home. It was waiting for me when I got home! Put it on my bed the next morning. I've been sleeping on a cloud! No aches or pains wake me up in the middle of the night anymore. Best purchase ever! Did have to purchase new sheets, which is not a bad thing!

I purchased the 2" topper a couple of months ago and wish I hadn't. I have had Tempur-pedic mattresses and toppers in the past and can tell you that the quality appears to me to have changed significantly. I contacted Tempur-pedic and, though the representative was polite, he offered no solution. If you are thinking of purchasing this product, my advise would be to only purchase it if can return it. I didn't have that option and I feel that I am stuck with a relatively useless product. It doesn't even look like the older Tempur-pedic. It looks like a simple foam rectangle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tempurpedic replaced my old mattress and broken bases. Excellent customer service. New mattress and bases are amazing. I did have to pay a $175 delivery fee though. Still worth it for the replacement and customer service.

Life changing

I have had low back problems for years. I am fit, healthy and active. I have been doing physical therapy for my back for years. I do yoga twice a week. It has helped, but I haven't been able to fix the problem. On a ski trip I stayed in my friend's guest bedroom on a Tempurpedic mattress. I wasn't crazy about it, but after three days of skiing my back should have been killing me and it wasn't. After my first night home in my bed, it was once again super painful. It didn't want to commit to a full Tempurpedic and my current mattress is not that old, so I bought a 3" Topper. After a week my life has changed. I no longer walk around in chronic pain. I am so happy. Con: It did smell at first, but that seems to have dissipated. Also, it is a king size, but is too small for our king sized bed, that is a little awkward. It would be a lot nicer if it were the proper size.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Support, Holds Shape

Hi and thank you for the review. We notice that you are in CA. Is it possible that you have a California King bed and a King topper? That could explain the difference in size. California King measurements are 72*84 while King measurements are 76*80.

Queen topper is substantially smaller than Queen mattress sz

Very comfortable, but I am troubled by the fact that the topper is so much smaller than the actual mattress. Box states Queen is 60 x 80 but actual is 53 x 74. This reduces the usable size of the bed and looks very odd when the bed is made up. The King would probably be too wide.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Support, Holds Shape, Soft Feel
