I needed a mattress for a summer home and went with the top-rated foam mattress from Consumer Reports. Unfortunately, it was never quite right and I woke up sore. Since I have a Tempurpedic mattress at my regular home, I decided to try a topper from them. That was the solution and the final touch for a good night's sleep.

Bought it mm 3 months ago I say, expected the topper to be softer after some use - pretty firm still , regardless my cuality of sleep has improve since I got it.

I do like the tempurpedic feel, but I don't know that I would purchase another product. It has taken over a month to lose most of the off-gassing smell. And even after a month there is still a bit left. Really unpleasant and over-powering.

Such a great mattress topper! I have fibromyalgia so getting comfortable isn't a very easy task. I've had a Tempurpedic pillow forever and loved it so I thought I would try out this topper to upgrade from a generic one I had. Such a great buy! It really helps me sleep at night and not wake up so much. I would definitely recommend to anyone. As far as the smell goes, maybe I got lucky but I can hardly smell anything. Doesn't bother me at all.

I bought a topper in about 1997 to put on top of my mattress. I am moving to another state now (2014) and will be shipping it. When I took the cover cover off to wash it this time and to inspect the topper, It looked just brand new. I swear I could sell it as brand new if I wanted to! I am amazed..no dips nothing. Before I bought this topper I bought one of the Viscious/generic (sp) toppers and within a year I had to send it back because it had dips in it around my hip area. THIS WAS WELL worth the money spent 17 years ago! (and I paid more for it then than they cost today from Tempurpedic)! Way to go! Great product that seems to last forever! I am proof! barb/alaska
