[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our mattress topper and the only reason I didn't give it a five star is because of it's size. We have a regular king size mattress but the topper doesn't come to the edges but we love the way it feels. We are sleeping much better just disappointed with the size- not quite king size.

The king bed we've had for more than 10 years has double Tempur-Pedic twin boxes as the base, and those were the best quality boxes we've ever had. Unfortunately when we bought the boxes, we purchased a different brand of foam mattress which has not been a very enjoyable experience. I didn't want to replace the mattress because it'd be too much of a hassle to get rid of the old one, but then it dawned on me that I could simply add a topper on top of the old mattress. I wish I had made that decision years ago! To put it simply, it's so comfortable! In fact, some people may find it too comfortable because your body will be so snugly supported by the foam that you will need some getting used to to get out of the bed. I used to wake up tired, particularly when I had a bad dream. Now even if I had a bad dream, I still wake up feeling relaxed and dreamy. It's hilarious but true! One suggestion - my old mattress is very firm, so adding the Tempur-Pedic topper on top of it adds comfort. You may not want to do the same thing if your base is too soft - it may sag too much. In the past, I've put Tempur-Pedic topper directly on top of boxes and that was a very good experience for me too. Highly recommend!

Great Refresh of old tempurpedic matress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an old tempurpedic mattress that i decided to refresh, mattress was 16 years old, took the mattress apart and ripped off the old memory foam layer and put on a new layer using their mattress topper. Topper is 3" vs 4" for the original layer but makes the bed feel almost new for a fraction of the cost! Great upgrade!!
