The topper does exactly what it says it would do... It sits on top of my current mattress, and offers a memory foam sleeping experience. Unfortunately, the cost of this topper was more than the price of my son's memory foam mattress (full mattress) bought from a different company, and from what I can tell, is of similar quality. With the cost of toppers in general, and the need for only a single topper, I haven't bought or compared this topper to other toppers, so it may indeed be better and worth the cost they are charging. However, because it is not blowing me out of the water, I think I should have bought a different topper at half or a third of the cost.

We bought the Topper to hopefully lengthen the life of our new orthopedic style firm mattress. We stacked the new mattress on top of the old box spring set, then put the Topper on top of the mattress, and finally we put a nice, thick mattress pad over the Topper. Our bed is now unbelievably comfortable; yieldingly soft, but firm and supportive in all the right places. The Temper-Topper is definitely the star of this arrangement. My chronic morning back pain is gone. But is it SO VERY DIFFICULT to get out of bed in the morning.

Still feeling hip pain

I purchace a hybrid mattress but was having trouble sleeping an hip pain. I bought the topper in the hope of alleviating the pain but it has not worked for both my wife and I. Lastly I may have to buy another mattress to see if that will eliminate the paib

we went with this topper because it was rated the best in good housekeeping magazine. It didn't fit the bed proudly. It's too short. I bought it to help with neck and back pain and I'm still experiencing both and I feel no pain when I go to bed but when I wake up my lower back aches and I find it hurting when I go to turn in the middle of the night
