So uncomfortable, came damaged, poor customer service

We opened our topper from the box to find a massive tear (6+ inches). This topper is also rock hard and feels like you're sleeping on the floor. After contacting customer service, they were reluctant to tell me how to process a return because "only the mattresses" apply for the 90 day love it or return it policy. I have sent them photos of the damage and have still not heard back after a week. Overall, would NOT recommend the topper or buying from Tempur-pedic as their customer service sucks. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a queen and a full for 2 sofa beds when we were expecting a houseful of family. The sofa beds have not been popular in the past, but had to be used. After not receiving them by the beginning of the week that our company was coming, I called to cancel my order, as I could see they hadn't shipped yet. The very nice woman I spoke to said I couldn't cancel and that the system was down so she couldn't tell me anything. I was so frustrated but to my amazement a day or so later I saw they had shipped and were due the Friday I needed them! And they arrived on time and were very much appreciated. Thank you!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the full size mattress topper online and it came in a box, of course, but it was wrapped in plastic wrap rather messily. It was surprising to me that it had come from Tempur-pedic. It looked like someone just wrapped it in plastic in a hurry and threw it in the box. Parts of it were not even covered in the plastic. Beyond that initial shock, the topper itself is wonderfully comfortable and makes the much-too-hard mattress that I have more manageable. I did notice, however, that the topper itself is narrower than my full-size mattress, and I'm going to measure the two to see by how much. Again, strange. I'm not sure why a full-size topper would not be equivalent in width to a full size mattress. Overall, I'm pleased with the topper, but not pleased with how it arrived in the mail nor with the overall size.

I was looking for a topper to make my 5 year old bed firm mattress softer. I'm a side sleeper and wake up with hip pain all night and in the morning. This was not the fix I was looking for. It's not a bad topper, just not soft enough for my needs. Might be time to just buy a new mattress.
