[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I are bigger people (250,300+), there weren't any reviews that mentioned this, that's why I do. I was worried that a 4 inch topper wouldn't be enough for us. It was!! It supported us and didn't let us sink to the hard mattress underneath, as I had feared. We purchased the cooling version, and that is the only reason I removed a star. It isn't cool. Yes, when you first touch it it is cool, but that doesn't last. We have now put a fan on us a night and it helps. The comfort of my hips is worth the little bit of warmth through the night. Our house temp is 66-73 degrees Fahrenheit if that helps anyone. The mattress was outside in the garage for the first week to dissipate the scent. When we brought it inside from the cold it was a bit stiff, but warmed up fast. After airing it out a week, I didn't notice a strong bothersome scent.

This topper has not only proving it's cooling effects but also we melt in to bed finding many comfortable positions to sleep in. It's been amazing. We are very pleased with our mattress topper and are even eager to purchase one for our daughter as she has an older mattress. Our kiddos can use good sleep just as much as we do.
