[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The foam itself is not 3", so must assume that "3" profile" means with the mattress pad included. It also is shorter than my full mattress, both width and lengthwise. The foam does not have any support whatsoever - way too soft. On top of everything else, the mattress pad has a strong chemical smell. Have washed and aired it 5 times now and it's still bad. I've had T. products for over twenty years and this one is a big disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this topper on our hybrid mattress . We sleep so much better with this on our bed and wake up with less aches and pains. It doesn't hold our body heat so it stays comfortable all night. We only wish the outer edges were a little firmer than the center.

This topper is really awful. Too soft to provide any adequate support. I did not sleep all night and got up with horrible back, shoulders and neck pain. This item cannot be returned so I am out several hundred dollars. I will not even use it for my dogs so in the garbage it goes. What a waste.

It has definitely improved the comfort of the mattress and has provided more restful nights. The topper is much softer than our Tempur-pedic mattress in our main bedroom at home though. If the topper was offered in a firmer version, it would be perfect.
