When I lie down, the topper makes me feel like I am sinking. I want a topper that is soft but at the same time gives me a firm support to my back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were hoping this mattress topper would give us the extra support we needed to ease shoulder and back pain, but unfortunately it did not. It is soft, but not supportive at all, such a disappointment. We also paid extra for the cooling feature, but it does nothing to keep us cool. We choose the same size as our mattress, but the pad is 3 inches narrower than the mattress, another disappointment. We decided to pay extra knowing that Temperpedic is a reputable name, but we should have purchased a topper elsewhere and paid 1/3 of the cost. Our adivce is to keep looking for a better value in a mattress topper!
