After purchasing a new mattress I thought my problems were over. Not! I figured I'd try this cooling topper. Well after three months I find myself sleeping better without back pain. So far so good.

This mattress topper transformed the bed. Just enough give over the firm mattress. Now I love this bed. It's almost as good as our Tempurpedic mattress.

I haven't noticed a big difference with the cooling portion but I may just be a hot sleeper. My only negative is the outer fabric used is so slippery that the sheets move and slip around as I move which I don't like. They need just a little more "grip" and less "slip". Otherwise great purchase.

BUT - when they arrived I decided to go-for-broke and get a new Temperpedic mattress instead of putting a comfortable layer of foam on my existing coil spring mattress. I had not even opened the shipping box when I called Temperpedic for instructions on how to return the pad and pillow. I learned that the company WILL NOT accept returns of toppers or pillows even though the items were still on an unopened box. I was told the same thing when I called a second time. So - I'm stuck with a topper instead of a new mattress. Seems strange that they will accept returns of mattresses that have been slept on (and who knows what else), but they will not accept returns of unopened items inside an unopened shipping box. My temper is beyond pedic and I will never purchase a Temperpedic product again. Sad. Very sad customer relations.
