It's incredibly comfortable and the cooling is nice, but I already was having trouble waking up, and this makes it even harder to roll over and get up - literally, it is hard to roll over. Also at night when I am trying to get comfortable, it is hard to roll over into a new position. I often sleep without a pillow on this because it is so soft that my pillow is now too supportive and twists my neck weird. And when I was sick I had to remove it because my head was too elevated and I need to sleep without a pillow when I'm congested. But my fiancee likes it better than our mattress so we're keeping it. I never thought I'd be interested in one of those sleep number beds because I didn't think I was a picky sleeper. I understand now. This mattress topper makes me feel like the bed has swallowed me alive.

I didnt Have the money to buy an actual mattress again so Have this topper at an affordable price leaves me so satisfied. Takes away my back pain. Reason for 4 stars and not 5. The cooling element is great when your sheet isn't on but once it's on you can't feel it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have a tempur-pedic mattress and although they have had issues with heat retention - went with the cooling topper thinking "how could they still have a heat retention issue on a topper. well guess what they do. I like the topper for my "hip" sleeping problem but am stuck with a topper that keeps me awake during the night from heat retention. Would return if I could.

I thought it would be too soft, but really wanted a temper pedicure topper for our very firm mattress. My partner and I had a very uncomfortable night and did not sleep. Took it off immediately. Called customer service and they cannot help at all. I thought the " sleep and try" nights applied to toppers...they do not. I've allied friends and family if they want it. But I can't even give it away. Should have read more reviews- take my advice, unless you like a super soft bed that makes you feel like you're hunched over every night, do not buy this topper. Optionally the " cool sheet" did not work. We were both sweating.

Put the new cooking topper on and it looked about 1 in too small on all sides. At night, it moves so there is an empty spot between the topper and headboard which my tempurpedic pillow slides down into. It's comfy and cool to sleep on but really wierd the flat sheets on top of it slide all around. It's like sleeping on top of plastic. Happens with all of our high quality sheets (Brooklinen, Boll&Branch) so it's not the sheet. We have to take it off because the sizing & movement make it super frustrating and creates a poor sleep quality. Do not recommend. I'm a longtime Tempurpedic customer but this topper is not worth the money.
