Redesigned and much worse topper

Had the Tempurpedic topper from 5 years ago. This one is 1/5 of the weight of the older version, way too soft and too hot. The old topper had the nice "firm, then sink into a hug" Tempurpedic quality to it. This is one just cheap, soft foam like every other brand, where you immediately sink to the bottom. They are still using the 5 star reviews from the old version for this version, but it is an entirely different product. It's actually insulting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tossing and turning was causing sleepless nights. So I decided to try the Tempur-Adapt cooling topper. Wow, what a fantastic addition to my now restful nights. I now can sleep better that than I have for several years. No more pressure points. No more tossing and turning. Thank you Tempur-Pedic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice however when my husband and I lay next to each other it makes my back uncomfortable because I feel like I'm in a dip (and we cuddle every night). With that, I've been waking up with a back ache. I was hoping that this one would eliminate that problem. I had one that was great but it got ruined in storage when we moved. this does does seem to puff up daily. Also our mattress is new (quality firm mattress purchased in February 2023) I'm not sure this product was worth the price.
