Not worth the money

I hated this thing. It was way too soft. After 3 months I pulled it off my bed and threw it in the garbage. It made my back hurt so bad I had to take off from work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our old topper(not a tempur-pedic) was worn in, and it felt like when you laid on it, that you sunk it and had no movement. If you wanted terrible sleep, that was the top choice! Since using this the last month, back problems are gone, and we're beyond happy! Also, the cooling technology is great, it actually works. Big fan, will be buying more in the future when needed!

Missing that dense foam feel of prior model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sleeping well with this (153 lbs 5'1" back, hip, and neck issues) but definitely miss their dense foam model we've bought in the past. That was so restorative! My husband and I felt like that topper could heal whatever the day brought on!! This one doesn't require my husband to push me as I try to get out of it (haha) but it doesn't have that same marshmallow feel. Certainly better at keeping me cool which is big at this stage in my life (50). We never added cooling to the older model and holding heat became a serious issue for me. I think I would have liked that better. I catch my husband who is 280, sneaking into the second bedroom occasionally, where the old model was moved. He seems to sleep well in this too and his shoulders with arthritis and back issues are doing ok. He comments it's not the same and doesn't "heal" him overnight. We bought this one because we bought a split king adjustable mattress. There was no option on any website to purchase the same dense model we've had in split king. This is a good second option. Would love to have the old one (but with cooling) in 2 twin xls though.
