[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paid extra for the cooling topper. I do not feel like it keeps us cool through the night at all. The topper and my pillow was very expensive and does not allow returns, so I trusted that they both would be worth the money. The topper does soften our firm matress but does not stay cool through the night. I would not waste your money on the cooling aspect. The topper itself is soft but would return it if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
