I've owned many tempurpedic mattresses over the last 25 years. I like the feeling of 'sinking in' when I lie on the bed. This topper does not have that feeling at all, it's just a super soft squishy feeling. I chatted with the chat box to confirm that the material was going to have the classic temper feeling, and they guided me to upgrade to the cooling one for more of that feeling. I'm not a hot sleeper, but I upgraded. If this is the classic firmer one I can't image how soft the other one must be! Now I'v got an expensive piece of foam that reminds me every night of my bad choice to go with tempurpedic. Oh - and it can't be returned or exchanged like a mattress can!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way the Topper feels (very comfortable as improves my old mattress quality), but the size is 7 inches shorter and 5 inches less wide than advertised for CA King. Therefore it does not cover the mattress as it should. Left a message with company and never heard back. Disappointing, as otherwise would have been pleased but for "short" fit.

I ordered this topper because the surface seemed a bit hard in my older age. The Tempur Topper fixed that. I particularly like crawling into bed because it is so soft and welcoming.
