cooling topper failure

After reading many reviews about the best cooling topper being the Tempu-Adapt + Cooling Topper, I jumped in feet first to get one since my wife and I were both getting very hot sleeping on our Foam Mattress (Brand withheld ) I have noticed a very slight cooling increase but my wife has not. In addition she is waking up with aches everywhere. NO RETURN Policy and now I'm stuck with a King Foam Pad on my Mater Floor. Total waste of Money
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm not sure about the cooling technology because I put a mattress protector over it and now I can't feel the cool anymore. My only complaint is that the starps to keep it on the mattress are flimsy so it moves around a lot and you have to re adjust it. Other than that though it's perfect!! Like sleeping on a cloud!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously had a "cooling egg crate" topper on our bed and it was starting to break down. I had looked at the Temperpedic cooling topper many times and we finally decided to spend more money for what we thought would be a better topper. It is very well made and easy to place on your bed and I really like the straps that help hold it in place. However, we don't find it to be any more comfortable or supportive than the much cheaper topper we had before. Hopefully it will at least hold up a little longer. For reference, my husband weighs around 250 lbs and I'm around 110. We also paid extra for the "cooling" topper, but really don't find it to be cooling at all. Maybe the regular one is hot? If this was the first topper we'd ever tried, I would probably be giving it five stars. Since that is not the case, I recommend to you to spend less money on a different topper and don't pay for the Temperpedic name unless you're going to spring for an entire mattress. I wish it was a game-changer for us, but it's just not. We were hoping for an improvement regarding pressure points and comfort, but just didn't get that.

My only issue is that once you're in a solid sleeping position and not moving around much, the coolness of the topper doesn't stick around. It's basically cool to the touch for the first few minutes of getting adjusted and then feels normal again.

Put this topper on my mattress after sleeping on the couch for 6 months (it was much better than our bed to give an idea). I am now able to actually sleep through the night and not wake up with immense back pain after getting this. The only downside is that it slides small amount from side to side on my mattress over time. It does have corner straps, but they don't grip my mattress as well as I'd hoped they would've. Other than that, everything is amazing! Even the cooling works fairly well :)
