The topper itself is great but it won't stay in place

The topper itself is great but it won't stay in place. The elastic that holds the topper at the headboard end is too stretchy and causes the topper to slide downward about five or 6 inches towards the foot of the bed every time I incline the bed. I got so tired of pulling the topper up towards the headboard that I decided to sew it in place. I had to attach the topper in about 20 different spots to prevent it from slipping. It took me a whole afternoon. And a lot of heavy duty thread. I do not recommend this product until the manufacturer fixes this problem.

Soooo confused by the positive reviews and wirecutter review. This topper is SO plush you will sink into oblivion and curl your spine. *Might* be good for a rock hard bed or the floor. Also the cooling material does not really work. Total waste of money. Tempurpedic claims to be "waste-free" but look at all of these people throwing away toppers that could be sanitized and re-sold!! Do not buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this topper to give us a little more support to a 7 year old TempurPedic mattress. Upon laying it on the floor and letting it air out for about a day; we laid on it still on the floor to see how it felt and it was essentially like laying on a bare floor. Zero support given, and I can't say it's even kept us any cooler. We were considering buying a new mattress again from Tempur, but we will probably spend our money else where.

The cooling effect does not work

We've now had this for about a month now. I wish we didn't purchase it. It is actually very warm and not cooling at all. It is actually much hotter than just our mattress. And of course, you can't return this product. Really unhappy and bummed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that a mattress topper could stay cool all night. I had tried every brand of mattress topper claiming to stay cool with not much success. I read about the Temper-Adapt + Cooling Topper and became intriuged. I sleep cold then hot but wanted to start out cool and stay cool. My husband and I were amazed the very first night. Not only did we stay cool but the topper is extremely comfortable. We both slept great. I wasn't sure I would like the feel of a Tempur-Pedic type of topper, but we are extremely pleased with it. We are using it in our summer lake house and probably will purchase a second one for home.

This is a great product as my comfort level has changed over time and this added the perfect amount of softness while giving me the support I like. The one thing negative is that I feel like the "cooling" isn't really all that cooling.

A Cool Sinking Topper

The topper does feel cool but it gave no support. As others have mentioned there is no support so you sink to the mattress that you are trying to improve. As a result the comfort and support did not improve. For comparison I am a 175lb male and I was trying to improve the comfort of a 4" full size camper mattress. Maybe if you are much lighter you will find better support. It did provide a cool feel, but unfortunately the lack of support and no improved comfort make this topper unusable for my needs
