[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always known the Tempur-Pedic brand but always thought all memory foam was the same. A few years ago I splurged on a Tempur-Pedic King sized mattress and it was 10x better than any other mattress I've ever slept on. Of course I followed up by buying all sorts of different Tempur-Pedic pillows-which are amazing as well. Most recently I bought a second property that came fully furnished, mattress included, and as an interim solution, I bought the cooling mattress topper which immediately improved the quality and comfort while I sleep or simply lay awake. Two thumbs up for this product, and when the time comes to renovate, you can believe there will be another Tempur-Pedic mattress for the bedroom and I'll shift the mattress topper to the sleeper sofa I plan to buy.

First, the toppers are #1 for heavy people and/or people who are looking for pressure relief or arthritis suffers. Hands Down! Second, save your money when it comes to the 'cooling topper '. There is no difference, I don't care what others may say, just get the standard. Unfortunately, the toppers are hot, I guess there is no way around it? But because I have severe arthritis, these toppers give me the only relief I can find when laying down. I have gotten use to them being hot, taking a shower before laying down helps. Would still buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been sleeping on it for a month now, and I don't find the extra cost for the cooling effect to be worth it. It has the same effect as the mattress beneath it. I had a Tempur-pedic mattress for 20 years and it finally had to be replaced. As the cost has become prohibitive, I chose another mattress. When the mattress topper came down in price, I thought I'd try it. It doesn't compare to the actual mattress, but it will have to do. I bought the full size and it doesn't quite come to the edges of the full mattress, which creates a strange "shelf." I had high expectations, having had such a great experience with the T-p mattress, but this is mediocre. But I will continue to use it. I have no place to store it and, even at a discount, it is too expensive to throw out and you don't accept returns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
